We work with you to find the right solutions for your fitness needs. Our plans are personalized for each individual, helping you achieve your specific goals safely.

What is it?

Our private training sessions can either be 30, 45, or 60 minute one-on-one instruction from your personal trainer.

What to Expect
Before Purchasing Training Services

Complimentary Fitness Consultation:
This gives you the chance to decide if our training style suits you. It also gives us the chance to see your body awareness and physical abilities. Through listening and talking with you, we can craft the optimal program to help you achieve your goals. Our training recommendations and programs can be based off things like your fitness goals, health history, and physical abilities.

Client Health Information Questionnaire:
We're interested in your overall well-being and health, and our holistic tone questionnaire supports our belief in whole-person fitness.

After Purchasing Training Services

Your first few training sessions at Focus will include an individual fitness assessment. This assessment allows us to prescribe the best training program for you. It will include a basic evaluation of mobility, strength, strength endurance, postural strength, and cardiovascular fitness. From this information, we can determine your readiness for strength training and begin designing a personalized training program for you.

Continuous Goal Setting:
Training at Focus means you are working with a professional trainer where they will continually evaluate your progress each training session. Training sessions are continually updated to your individual goals and level of progress.

Client Files & Progress Reports:
We keep progress reports throughout your training, noting any changes in physical ability. This ensures that exercise prescriptions are up to date, and that they directly address your needs as they change.

We teach mindful movement, show how to execute proper technique, and provide handouts outlining the principles of strength conditioning and cardiovascular training. We also offer additional services where we can provide prescribed training sessions through our Fitness Hub app or our Focus Home Fitness Video subscription to support your training goals.

Team Approach:
We offer a "team approach" for those who need more flexibility in scheduling appointments. You can develop more support by cultivating relationships with the entire staff, rather than one individual. It also provides a broader perspective and skill set than a single trainer could.

How to Prepare For Your Training Session
  • Prior to your complimentary fitness consultation, please fill in your client health information questionnaire (will be emailed to you). We will need this information a minimum of two days ahead of your scheduled appointment. This will give your trainer time to prepare for your session.
  • Please arrive at least 5 minutes prior to your session’s start time.
  • If you’re attending a fitness assessment, it’s important not to warm-up in advance.
  • Please refrain from wearing any perfumes, oils, or colognes as other clients may have allergies.
  • Bring comfortable clothes for training.
  • Bring indoor shoes for use inside the studio.
  • Bring a water bottle.
  • We have lockers and shower facilities for your use. If you prefer to secure personal belongings, please leave valuables in your car, or bring a lock.
